About this album:

Distorted sounds, exploding beats, acid ambience, twisting ears and grooving bodies. From ambient to breakcore, from techno to psytrance, this is a compilation about craziness and absurdity, as well as our interpretations of such craziness and absurdity.
It has a object of criticism as well as a space for introspection; it is foregrounded against nuclear power as well as the craziness and absurdity revolving around it.
Lurking behind bureaucracy, capitalism and imperialism, the means of technology has gradually been substituted for its ends; disguised as a neutral/apolitical term that claims to serve only the needs of the people. "Nuclear power" exemplifies such a fetish of modern society for technology.
At the same time, we, as children born in the late eighties, had experienced the popularization of the personal computer that enabled us to access information alternative to official viewpoints on nuclear power. Furthermore, by learning to make music with the computer, we were also free to explore and express our thoughts and doubts upon the nuclear power machine via sound.
Compared with the direct signification processes of medias such as informational texts and images, the ambiguous signifieds of electronic music gives the audience a higher interpretative authority. We hope that this album can create an influence that simulates such features in electronic music; we hope to disrupt the unilateral communication between official media and society and to create more discussions upon the issue of nuclear power .
